The Goose and Gridiron at Freemasons' Hall in London

Whether you’re coming to Freemasons’ Hall for a meeting, joining one of our tours, or simply looking to step away from the bustle of Covent Garden, our spacious and comfy bar and café, The Goose and Gridiron, welcomes members and visitors alike. Come in and have a gander!

Blending all the comfort and style of a modern bar with the hall’s stunning art deco surroundings, Enjoy a quiet cake and coffee or a leisurely pint in this hidden gem at the heart of Freemasons’ Hall.

Monday- Friday  12:00 – 21:30 / Saturday  12:00 – 19:30

Café

Monday-Friday  9:30-5:00 / Saturday  9:00-5:00

 

Summertime Opening Hours

The Goose and Gridiron will be operating on summertime opening hours from Monday 13 July to Monday 31 August.

Café
Monday to Saturday: 9.30am – 5.00pm

Bar
Monday to Saturday: 12 noon – 6.30pm

Please note that The Goose and Gridiron will be closed on Thursday 16 July for staff training.

From September, we'll be back to our normal opening hours. We look forward to welcoming you throughout the summer!

Goose

The original Goose and Gridiron, near St. Paul’s Cathedral Churchyard, was an alehouse where the first Grand Lodge of England was founded. 300 years later, we honour that heritage, in name and in the warm fraternity Freemasonry has striven for since its early days.
