A MOZART CELEBRATION
2006 is the 250th anniversary of the birth of Bro Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. To celebrate the event the Supreme Grand Chapter of England for its next Convocation on 8 November has invited VW Bro Andrew Pearmain, PGSwdB, to talk about Mozart, his life, his Freemasonry and his music. This will be a unique opportunity to hear works by the greatest Masonic composer in the magnificent setting of the Grand Temple.
As part of the celebration the Library and Museum of Freemasonry will be mounting a special exhibition 'European Freemasonry in the time of Mozart' in the second vestibule to the Grand Temple.
All Companions who are subscribing members of an English Chapter may attend both the meeting and the following lunch. No tickets are required for the Convocation but lunch should be pre - booked with Mrs. Karen Haigh.
