Attendance at Supreme Grand Chapter

A major change in the rules governing attendance at Supreme Grand Chapter has been recommended by the Committee of General Purposes and agreed to by the First Grand Principal, HRH The Duke of Kent, KG.

In future, all Companions who are subscribing members of a Chapter under the Supreme Grand Chapter of England, but not otherwise qualified to attend its Convocations, will be very welcome to attend as non - voting observers.

The next Convocation of Supreme Grand Chapter will be held at noon on 9 November 2005 at Freemasons' Hall. The business on this occasion will include the Installation of E Comp George Francis as ME Second Grand Principal, in succession to ME Comp Iain Ross Bryce, who has served in that office since 1991 and retires on 7 November 2005.
